The research efforts of NetCINS laboratory currently include (in random order):

• next-generation file systems inspired by IR techniques
• trustworthy (centralized and distributed) computing
• large scale distributed information systems, such as those build on top of peer-to-peer overlay network infrastructures,
• social networking / web2.0 infrastructures and applications
• event-based, publish-subscribe middleware,
• high performance systems for content delivery over the internet (web proxies, content-delivery networks),
• novel applications based on efficient Internet content integration.
